Management at marine park sites
A permit, only issued to bona fide fishers, is required
in order to take fish inside a marine park. A voluntary ¡§no-take-at-AR¡¨
agreement was reached with permit holders before deployment.
Management at Phase II (future Fisheries Protection Area)
sites
It is planned that the AR deployment areas at Outer Port Shelter and Long
Harbour will form part of the future FPAs and will be managed as "no-take"
areas where no fishing activities will be permitted.
